Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Jourally, operated by VYBRAND MEDIA (KVK: 98442945).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Jourally, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

3. User Plans

Backer (Free): Follow journeys, comment, and support creators with donations.

Creator ($9.95/month): Create journeys, receive financial support, access analytics. 100% of donations go to the creator (minus Stripe processing fees).

4. Payments & Billing

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Creator subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
• Donations to creators are non-refundable unless the creator's account is terminated for violations.

5. Creator Payouts

• Creators receive payouts weekly via Stripe Connect.
• VYBRAND MEDIA does not take a commission on donations. Only Stripe processing fees apply.
• Creators are responsible for their own tax obligations.

6. Content Guidelines

You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains spam or misleading information
• Impersonates another person or entity
• Contains malware or harmful code

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create on Jourally. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content within the platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Jourally is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

VYBRAND MEDIA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
