The story behind Jourally
When founder Joey Angel was preparing for his trip to Uganda, he was looking for a way to not just ask his supporters for help, but to truly take them along. He noticed that current donation platforms fell short. It often remained a one-time transaction: give an amount, receive a thank-you email, and that was it. The depth was missing.
Joey believes that people don't just want to give to a cause; they want to feel involved in a story. They want to see the impact, feel the obstacles, and celebrate the successes together. From that need to bridge the gap between 'giver' and 'receiver', Jourally was born.
The name is the compass of our platform and carries a threefold meaning:
At Jourally, we believe everyone has a story to tell. Whether you're building a well in Africa, embarking on a personal journey of self-discovery, or tackling a tough weight loss journey: you are the protagonist of your story.
But even the strongest protagonist can't do it alone. With Jourally, you create a space where you document your journey through videos, blogs, and updates, so your supporters — your Allies — can experience every step with you.
Joey's dream is to provide a platform for everyone who has a mission and wants to take others along. We want to change the world of support: from one-sided donations to a shared experience.
Whether you support a cause or pursue a personal goal: Share your story. Gather your Allies. Make the journey together.
Join thousands of protagonists and backers already on Jourally.
